We are excited to announce that our Executive Director – Mark Francis will be a contestant on Season 1 of a new docu-series called “The Social Movement”. Produced by the excellent Chris LaVoie this series will be released on Amazon Prime in July 2020. The cast consists of 40 CEO’s and entrepreneurs, selected from across the globe & industries, coming together with the task of solving some of the planet’s most pressing socio-economic issues such as: global warming, women’s rights, universal access to education and affordable healthcare. The cast will be split into teams competing against one another, tasked with fundraising, while also putting together a viable business plan for solving one of these problems, culminating in a final pitch to a panel of influential judges. Rather than pitching for funding in their own businesses, each team will instead be competing on behalf of an assigned charity or not-for-profit representing one of the causes mentioned above.
